Music – Concerts – Events Photography
My Journey in Music Events Photography
Lights illuminate the stage, the band walks out, the crowd surges forward and you start snapping photos to capture moments of live music. While working as a concert photographer is challenging enough — you have to lug heavy equipment, cope with dim lighting and shoot in packed arenas — owning a concert photography business also presents challenges of its own. In hindsight, it was the natural combination of two lifelong passions; music and visual art. My start with concert photography came about, like so many things, as a fortuitous combination of whim and serendipity. As for the longer journey, it’s been a few years of hard work, and a little luck.
